Original card painted by Margaret Herrison Doane (Daisy) for her Aunt Mary Spring Perkins, Christmas 1881. This design inspired the window in St. Mary's-by-the-sea. Accompanying is a Photograph copy of a paper written by Margaret Doane Fayerweather in 1955 about the history of the lighthouse window.
